API 20E & 20F fasteners

The American Petroleum Institute (API) develops operational standards for equipment & hardware used in petroleum, natural gas and petrochemical applications with the aim of enhancing operational and environmental safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Hydrobolt’s quality management system is API Q1 (4006) registered and Hydrobolt is licenced to manufacture, monogram and supply fasteners to API20E BSL 3 (0058) and API20F BSL 3 (0028).

API20E covers alloy and carbon steel and 20F is for corrosion-resistant materials and are spec’d primarily for offshore and subsea applications when the integrity of the fasteners is of critical importance.
